Injuries Reported Across West Bank Amid Israeli Raids and Clashes

(MENAFN) Multiple Palestinians were injured on Saturday during a series of Israeli military raids and settler attacks across different areas of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources and medical teams.

Reports said Israeli settlers stormed villages in the Nablus area, including Jurish and Aqraba, where they allegedly threw stones at homes and assaulted residents. Medical teams treated several people, including a pregnant woman and an elderly resident, following the incidents.

In central West Bank areas near Ramallah, clashes erupted after Israeli forces entered the village of Deir Jarir. During the confrontation, live ammunition was reportedly fired, resulting in injuries to at least one Palestinian man, while several others were detained.

Additional raids were carried out in nearby towns and refugee camps, including operations in Al-Bireh, where security forces reportedly searched a fuel station, detained young Palestinians, and confiscated surveillance footage.

Further incidents were reported in other locations, including the use of tear gas in Beit Ummar near Hebron, which caused multiple cases of suffocation, as well as a raid on a facility in the Bethlehem area that led to road closures.

The wider situation in the occupied West Bank has remained tense amid ongoing military operations, arrests, and settler-related violence, which have increased alongside the broader conflict in the region since late 2023.
