Erdogan Welcomes Algeria's Leader in Ankara

(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan extended a warm personal welcome to his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune in Ankara on Wednesday, as the Algerian head of state arrived for an official state visit to Türkiye aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.

Erdogan stepped forward to personally receive Tebboune upon touchdown at Esenboğa Airport in the Turkish capital, a gesture underscoring the significance both nations attach to the visit.

Following their arrival at the designated ceremony area, Tebboune formally inspected and saluted the ceremonial guard regiment in a display of diplomatic protocol, after which the two leaders convened for a brief preliminary meeting at the airport before proceeding with the day's broader agenda.
