Profile Articles

I am a Professor in the Australian Centre for the Advancement of Literacy at ACU in Sydney, and Director of Research Translation at the Dyslexia SPELD Foundation in Perth.

My goals are to understand what causes reading and language difficulties in children, how these difficulties can be identified and treated effectively, and how they relate to emotional health. I am a strong advocate for the rapid translation of scientific knowledge into real-world practice.
