Qatar Condemns Targeting Khartoum International Airport
Doha: The State of Qatar condemned the targeting by drones of a site in the grounds of Khartoum International Airport in the fraternal Republic of Sudan, considering it a blatant violation of Sudan's sovereignty and a clear breach of the rules of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Qatar's categorical rejection of targeting civilian objects and vital facilities, reiterating its full support for the unity, sovereignty, and stability of Sudan.
The ministry also reiterated the State of Qatar's stance, calling for a resolution to the armed conflict in Sudan through dialogue and peaceful means, in order to achieve the aspirations of its fraternal people for peace, development, and prosperity.
