Profile Articles Activity

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law, researching international law, gender, racialised governance and human rights in cross-cultural perspectives. My work examines how global legal institutions construct vulnerability, responsibility, and justice in ways that both challenge and reproduce structures of power. Previously, I was the Allan Rock Visiting Professor and a Shirley Greenberg Fellow in Women and the Legal Profession at the University of Ottawa. I have two LLMs, from Cape Town and McGill, and a PhD from Ottawa. I am a licensed lawyer in Ontario, actively practicing in family and immigration law.
