Saudi Ministry Urges Hajj Applicants To Verify Permits Before Booking

(MENAFN- Mid-East Info) RIYADH, May, 2026 - The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued an urgent appeal to all individuals planning to perform Hajj, stressing the absolute necessity of verifying the validity of their Hajj permits before making any financial commitments or travel arrangements.

Ministry officials stated that permit compliance is foundational to the security of pilgrims and the orderly movement of both vehicles and pedestrians within the Holy Sites. Under current regulations, performing Hajj without an official permit is strictly prohibited, and violators face severe statutory penalties.

The Ministry also highlighted the risks of“fraudulent ads” on social media that promise Hajj services at suspiciously low prices without permits. These campaigns are deceptive and designed to defraud those seeking to fulfill their religious obligations.

Currently, the Ministry is using various media channels to clarify official entry pathways, emphasizing that following these instructions ensures a safe, successful journey and enables authorities to provide the best possible care for guests. -p decoding="async" class="CToWUd aligncenter" title="pexels-sevval-pirincci-997526-30637794" src="#" alt="pexels-sevval-pirincci-997526-30637794" width="620" data-bit="iit" />
