Rafeef Ziadah

Rafeef Ziadah is co-author of Resisting Erasure: Capital, Imperialism and Race in Palestine. She is a Senior Lecturer in Politics and Public Policy in Department of International Development, King's College London.
She holds a PhD in Politics from York University, Canada, and previously taught in the Politics and International Studies department at SOAS University of London. Ziadah is also co-editor, with Brenna Bhandar, of Revolutionary Feminisms (Verso, 2020). Her research on infrastructure, logistics and maritime politics has been published in journals including Antipode, Environment and Planning D: Society and Space, International Journal of Urban and Regional Research, and Conflict, Security & Development. Alongside her academic work, she has worked with refugee rights and anti-poverty organisations.
Her current research examines the political economy of maritime infrastructures and logistics, including the role of Gulf Cooperation Council interventions following the 2011 Arab uprisings.
