Russian Strike on Dnipropetrovsk Infrastructure Leaves One Dead
(MENAFN) At least one person has been killed and five others injured following a Russian strike on an infrastructure site in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, according to Ukrainian officials.
Local authorities in Kryvyi Rih reported that an industrial or infrastructure facility was hit during a series of overnight and morning attacks. The head of the city’s military administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, initially confirmed damage to the site and later stated that one man had been killed and another injured.
The regional governor later updated the casualty figures, indicating that the number of injured had risen to five. Medical teams are continuing to treat those affected, according to official statements.
Ukrainian authorities also reported that the country’s air defense systems were active during the attack, claiming to have intercepted the majority of incoming drones. The Air Force stated that 95 out of 123 drones launched overnight were shot down.
