Turkish Stock Market Opens Higher
(MENAFN) Türkiye’s primary equity indicator began Monday’s session at 14,446.29 points, marking a rise of 0.26%, equivalent to an increase of 37.22 points.
By the end of the previous week, the BIST 100 had advanced by 0.51%, settling at 14,409.07 points. The total daily trading turnover reached 169.5 billion Turkish liras, which corresponds to approximately $3.76 billion.
At 10:05 a.m. local time (07:05 GMT), foreign exchange rates were recorded at 45.0340 liras against the US dollar, 52.8880 versus the euro, and 61.0303 relative to the British pound.
Meanwhile, the cost of gold per ounce stood at $4,717.20, whereas Brent crude oil futures were being exchanged at $107.5 per barrel.
