Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi warned that the Middle East faces a critical phase marked by orchestrated efforts to reshape the region under extremist ideological pretexts, stressing the need to uphold state sovereignty, territorial integrity, and reject fragmentation and resource exploitation.

Speaking on the 44th anniversary of Sinai Liberation, he said the region's future must be built on cooperation, reconstruction, and peace, not conflict, emphasizing that political solutions and negotiations remain the only path to stability.

El Sisi reaffirmed Egypt's firm rejection of recent attacks on Arab states and its full support for their sovereignty, adding that Cairo continues to defend Arab rights at international forums.

On Palestine, he called for full implementation of the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire, including unhindered humanitarian aid and immediate reconstruction, while firmly rejecting any displacement of Palestinians and urging an end to repeated violations in the West Bank.
