I am Dr. Benedict Carpenter van Barthold, a practising artist who has been teaching in UK art schools since 1998. I have also held leadership roles in Higher Education and arts administration. As an artist, I have achieved numerous accolades, such as winning the Jerwood Sculpture Prize in 2001 and exhibiting at the Venice Biennale, Arsenale in 2005.
