Georgia Van Toorn

Dr Georgia van Toorn is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Social Sciences at UNSW and an Associate Investigator at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S). Her research explores the politics and ethics of automated decision-making, particularly as it affects and is experienced by people with disability. This includes work on the neoliberal transformation of social welfare regimes through the introduction of algorithmic decision-making logics and tools.
