Exiled Iranian Prince Targeted with Red Paint in Berlin
(MENAFN) Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of Iran's last shah, was doused in red paint by a protester in Germany on Thursday, moments after publicly backing US and Israeli military strikes against Iran.
Video footage from the scene showed the activist approaching Pahlavi from behind as he exited the Federal Press Conference in central Berlin and made his way toward a waiting vehicle accompanied by security personnel. The thrown liquid struck the back of his neck and shoulders. "The targeting of the regime's infrastructure and its elements of coercion was absolutely something that the Iranian people actually called for," he told reporters at the press conference.
