President Of Audit Bureau Meets With Ambassador Of Bulgaria To Jordan Metin Kazak
Hamadin welcomed the ambassador and emphasised the importance of the visit in advancing Jordan-Bulgaria relations, particularly in audit and oversight, noting that enhanced cooperation would reinforce transparency and accountability, strengthen governance and support the more efficient management of public resources.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance institutional coordination and exchange expertise between Jordan's Audit Bureau and Bulgaria's National Audit Office, in support of the shared interests of the two countries, according to Audit Bureau statement.
Hamadin also outlined the bureau's mandate, functions and audit role within the public funds control framework, highlighting its monitoring of entities under its supervision and ensuring compliance with applicable financial and administrative legislation, in support of improved institutional efficiency.
He highlighted the bureau's key achievements in recent years, particularly in advancing audit practices, modernising tools and methodologies and enhancing institutional performance.
President of Audit Bureau also outlined plans to further develop the audit environment, strengthen institutional capacity and leverage modern technologies, in support of more effective audit outputs and the bureau's role in safeguarding public funds.
Kazak expressed his appreciation for the warm reception, commending the advanced institutional level reached by Jordan's Audit Bureau, as well as its clear vision and ongoing commitment to development and modernisation in line with best professional practices.
The ambassador said the visit reflects the two countries' commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding coordination.
The discussions are aimed at advancing cooperation between Jordan's Audit Bureau and its Bulgarian counterpart, including paving the way for a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on capacity building, training programmes and the exchange of specialised expertise, particularly in auditing economic sectors.
