Home Set on Fire, Elderly Woman Assaulted in West Bank by Zionists

(MENAFN) According to reports, a Palestinian home was set on fire in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, while an elderly woman was also assaulted in a separate incident, amid multiple detentions carried out by Israeli forces.

Sources said a group entered the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, and ignited a house belonging to a Palestinian family before residents intervened and forced them to leave the area. A vehicle belonging to another family was also reportedly burned. No injuries were reported in that incident.

The town has faced repeated attacks in recent years, with reports of targeted damage to property and land in connection with broader tensions and settlement expansion in the area.

In a separate case, an elderly woman sustained bruises after being attacked while farming in the Wadi Khneis area east of Hebron. She was taken to a medical facility for treatment, as stated by reports. Following the incident, three of her sons were detained by Israeli forces.

In another development, a young Palestinian man was detained after being beaten near the entrance to Beit Dajan village east of Nablus, according to reports.
