Lady Constable Makes History: First Female Police Officer Martyred In Balochistan Anti-Terror Operation In Khuzdar
According to details, yet another daughter of the soil has written a new chapter of bravery in Khuzdar district of Balochistan.
In an exchange of fire with terrorists in the Baghbana area of Khuzdar, Lady Constable Malik Naz embraced martyrdom. She has become the first female police officer in the history of Balochistan to be martyred while confronting terrorists.
Police officials said that a police team reached the area after receiving information about a theft incident in Baghbana, when terrorists already lying in ambush surrounded the police party and ordered them to surrender.

Instead of surrendering, the police personnel chose to defend the homeland and engaged in an exchange of fire. During the encounter, Lady Constable Malik Naz and Head Constable Samiullah were martyred on the spot, while two other police officials sustained serious injuries and were shifted to hospital.
Assistant Chief Minister Balochistan Shahid Rind paid tribute to martyred Malik Naz, stating that her family has a long history of sacrifices.
He added that Malik Naz's husband also served in the Levies Force and was martyred in a targeted killing during duty. She has left behind three young children.
Shahid Rind said that Malik Naz has raised the pride of the entire province by sacrificing her life for the protection of the people.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) is investigating the incident, and efforts are underway to bring the culprits to justice. The government stands with the families of the martyrs and will provide all possible support, while operations against anti-peace elements will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
