Israeli Military Is on High Alert for Possible Renewed Offensive on Iran

(MENAFN) Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir instructed the military on Sunday to increase its readiness in preparation for a potential renewed military campaign against Iran. According to a news outlet, citing military sources, the Israeli army has transitioned into a "structured war-preparation" mode, similar to the posture taken before launching strikes on Tehran in February.

The report also mentioned that military intelligence has expedited the development of a "target bank" focused on Iran, specifically targeting missile systems, launchers, and related infrastructure.

Since February 28, over 3,000 people have been killed in US-Israeli airstrikes on Iran. In retaliation, Tehran launched strikes on Israel, Iraq, Jordan, and other Gulf countries hosting US military forces, until a two-week ceasefire was announced earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Iranian and US delegations concluded 21 hours of face-to-face talks in Islamabad early Sunday, although no agreement was reached.
