Armenian PM Agrees with Putin to Hold High-Level Meeting in June

(MENAFN) Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on Thursday that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed to hold a high-level meeting in the latter part of June.

In statements shared by Armenian state media, Pashinyan reflected on his recent Moscow visit earlier this month, describing the trip as “very successful.”

“Regarding the face-to-face meeting, we have already agreed on our upcoming meetings and events. We have agreed on a high-level meeting for the second half of June,” Pashinyan said.

Highlighting the evolving relationship between Armenia and Russia, he characterized current ties as undergoing a “constructive transformation” and expressed a positive outlook on this development. “We will not deviate from the logic of friendly dialogue and will continue along this path,” he added.

Pashinyan further noted that Armenia will maintain its engagement with both the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the European Union (EU) whenever feasible, emphasizing, “When the moment of incompatibility comes, we will make decisions together with the people.”
