White House Rejects Claims Trump May Replace Intelligence Chief
(MENAFN) The White House denied reports suggesting that President Donald Trump is contemplating replacing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, labeling the claims as “totally fake news.”
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung stated on Thursday that Trump has “total confidence” in Gabbard.
The remarks came after media reports indicated that Trump was considering a replacement due to concerns over her management of internal intelligence matters.
Trump is also reportedly evaluating further personnel changes following his recent removal of Pam Bondi as attorney general and Kristi Noem as homeland security secretary.
"The president has assembled the most talented and impactful Cabinet ever, and they have collectively delivered historic victories on behalf of the American people," Cheung said.
