Israel Reports Thousands Got Injured Since Iran War Begins
(MENAFN) Israel’s Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 6,131 people have been hospitalized since the onset of the conflict with Iran on Feb. 28, with 118 patients still receiving care.
The ministry stated on the US social media platform X that one individual remains in critical condition, 17 are in serious condition, 27 are in moderate condition, 72 have minor injuries, and one person is being treated for anxiety.
Tensions in the region have escalated since the offensive launched by Israel and the US against Iran on Feb. 28, which has reportedly killed more than 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In response, Tehran has conducted drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, resulting in casualties, damage to infrastructure, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
