Trump Shares Video of Massive Explosions Amid Attacks on Iran
(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump on Monday posted a video showing large-scale explosions amid new attacks on Iran. The footage, shared on his Truth Social account, was uncensored and came without captions.
Reports indicate that one of the recent strikes targeted a major ammunition depot in Isfahan, where 2,000-pound bunker buster bombs were reportedly deployed. Citing a US official, the report noted that a significant number of penetrator munitions were used in the operation.
Explosions were also reported in Tehran early Tuesday, adding to the escalating regional tensions.
The heightened conflict follows a joint US-Israeli offensive against Iran that began on Feb. 28, which has reportedly resulted in over 1,340 fatalities, including the country’s then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In retaliation, Iran has carried out drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf states hosting US military installations. These actions have reportedly caused casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
