Israeli Forces Target Iran’s Marine Industries Organization Headquarters

(MENAFN) The Israeli army announced on Saturday that it carried out an airstrike targeting the headquarters of Iran’s Marine Industries Organization, as stated by reports.

According to the military, the facility is involved in the development of naval weaponry, a claim it shared in a statement on the U.S.-based social media platform X. The army further asserted that additional locations linked to the production and advancement of weapons and air defense systems were also struck during the operation.

The latest developments come amid intensifying regional tensions following the joint U.S.-Israeli offensive launched on Feb. 28 against Iran, which reportedly resulted in the deaths of more than 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In response, Tehran has carried out a series of drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations hosting U.S. military facilities. These retaliatory strikes have caused casualties, damaged infrastructure, and contributed to disruptions in global markets and air travel.
