Israel Explores Establishment of US Military Bases on Its Soil

Israeli media revealed that Tel Aviv has formally put forward the proposal, which includes not only the creation of new US installations within Israel but also the potential redeployment of existing American bases from elsewhere in the region. Tehran has since responded with waves of drone and missile strikes directed at Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and a number of Gulf states where US military forces are stationed — a pattern of retaliation that has kept the broader region on a knife's edge.
