Israeli Forces Target Iran’s Naval Weapons Development HQ
(MENAFN) The Israeli military announced on Saturday that it carried out a strike targeting the headquarters of Iran’s Marine Industries Organization, according to official statements.
In its remarks, the army claimed that the facility plays a central role in developing naval weapon systems. The statement was shared via the US-based social media platform X.
Additionally, Israeli forces said they hit several other locations linked to the production and advancement of weaponry, including air defense systems.
These developments come amid intensifying regional tensions following the joint military campaign launched by the United States and Israel on Feb. 28. Since the start of the conflict, more than 1,340 people have been killed, including Iran’s Supreme Leader at the time, Ali Khamenei.
In response, Iran has carried out multiple drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, along with Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military installations. These retaliatory strikes have resulted in casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
