Marines Repel Massive Enemy Assault In Oleksandrivka Sector


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the brigade reported the incident on Facebook and released a corresponding video.

"On the morning of March 28, 2026, the enemy launched a large-scale offensive in the operational zone of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade of the Naval Forces. This was the most powerful attack on this section of the front since the beginning of this year. The enemy deployed armored vehicles and a large number of personnel for the assault," the military stated.

According to the 37th Separate Marine Brigade of the Naval Forces,“thanks to the coordinated actions of our units, as of 2:00 p.m., the situation has been fully stabilized, and the enemy's assault attempts have been stopped.”

The military noted that in just the first half of the current day, the Russian invaders' losses in personnel and equipment exceeded the total losses from the previous three days of combat operations in the brigade's area of operations.

During the battle, 27 invaders were killed, and one more was wounded.

In addition, one Russian tank, two ATVs, and two motorcycles were destroyed or damaged.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army has attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 143 time since the start of the day. The enemy is exerting the most pressure in the Pokrovsk direction and is showing increased activity in the Huliaipole, Kostyantynivka, and Oleksandrivka sectors.
