5 Dead In Badghis Flash Floods

QALA-I-NAW (Pajhwok): At least five people, including a child, have lost their lives due to heavy rainfall and the resulting floods in various parts of Badghis province.
Sediqullah Sediqi, spokesperson for the Badghis Police, said that heavy rain began on Friday night and continued until this afternoon, leading to flooding.
He stated,“In this natural disaster, three people lost their lives in the village of Shash Maniha in Qadis district, while two others-including a three-year-old girl-died in Dara-e-Bum district of the province.”
According to Sediqi, today's floods also caused financial losses to residents of these districts.
