Turkish Technic Secures Agreement with Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air
(MENAFN) Turkish Technic, the maintenance, repair, and overhaul division of the Turkish national airline Turkish Airlines, has finalized a long-term component pool contract with Centrum Air, the largest private airline in Uzbekistan, covering its Airbus A320 fleet.
This agreement marks the beginning of collaboration between Turkish Technic and Centrum Air, which is part of Centrum Holding. It also represents Turkish Technic’s first partnership with an airline based in Uzbekistan, according to a statement released by Turkish Technic on Thursday.
Through this contract, Centrum Air will gain access to Turkish Technic’s wide-ranging component inventory, allowing continuous operations with the support of the company’s swift and comprehensive spare parts supply services.
"We are delighted to welcome one of the largest air carriers in Central Asia to our expanding customer network. This long-term agreement will lay the foundation for a close collaboration in the future. With our years of experience in component pool services, we will ensure they can continue their operations efficiently," stated Mikail Akbulut, CEO of Turkish Technic. Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, founder and CEO of Centrum Holding, described the agreement as a significant step toward enhancing the reliability and performance of the airline’s operations.
