Four Russian State Duma Deputies Charged Over Support For Seizure Of Ukrainian Territories
The suspects are charged under Part 3 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine).
Investigators say that in 2022, deputies Bekhan Agayev, Roza Chemeris, Amir Khamitov, and Nikolai Alekseyenko voted in favor of Russian legislative acts that served as the basis for the seizure of territories in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
