Hakan Fidan Hosts Gulf, Jordanian Envoys in Ankara

(MENAFN) On Monday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a formal meeting with ambassadors from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations as well as Jordan, according to the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

The session took place in Ankara, as noted in a statement shared by the ministry on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal. The meeting reflects ongoing diplomatic efforts by Turkey to engage with regional partners amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.

While the ministry did not provide additional details regarding the discussions, the gathering underscores Ankara’s focus on fostering dialogue and coordination with neighboring states during a period of regional instability.

The GCC is made up of six member countries: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman, all of which play key roles in regional diplomacy and security matters.
