Saudi Air Defenses Intercept Dozens of Drones in Eastern Region
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia reported that its air defense systems successfully intercepted 35 drone attacks over the Eastern Region since early Tuesday, as stated in official announcements.
The country’s Defense Ministry shared the updates through posts on the social media platform X, highlighting the ongoing vigilance of its military forces.
The increase in hostilities across the region follows US and Israeli strikes on Iran that began on Feb. 28. In response, Tehran has carried out repeated drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, as well as Gulf countries that host US military assets.
