The rains are set to lash the suburbs in Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts too. The Telangana Weather Man is warning of gusty winds blowing at speeds of 45 km per hour. He also mentioned that some areas might even get hailstorms. These strong winds and hail are bad news for farmers, especially those growing mangoes. The small, raw mangoes on the trees could fall off, and the quality of the crop could also be damaged.These rains are happening because of a trough and moist winds blowing from the east and southeast. The weather department has warned that this evening, districts like Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Medak, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Siddipet, Sircilla, Jangaon, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Mulugu, Bhupalpally, Mancherial, Asifabad, and Bhadradri Kothagudem will get rain. Places like Karimnagar, Hanamkonda, Warangal, and Peddapalli might also see moderate showers with thunder, lightning, and strong winds. The Weather Man said the rain, starting this afternoon or evening, will likely continue into the night.Yesterday (Sunday), areas along the Telangana-Karnataka border like Zahirabad, Narayankhed, and Bidar received rainfall. Sangareddy, Kamareddy, and Vikarabad also saw light showers accompanied by heavy thunder and strong winds. Rains were also reported in Medak, Singur, Kankol, Alladurg, Pocharam, and Banswada. The weather expert has warned that these rains are likely to continue today (Monday). The Telangana Weather Man also said that for the rest of the week, the heat will be less intense, with scattered showers keeping the weather cool.Meanwhile, in Andhra Pradesh, the AP State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) has announced a mixed bag of weather for the next three days. It will be sunny, but the sky will also be cloudy with rain in some places. The APSDMA explained that this unique weather is due to a trough and southwesterly winds. Today (Monday), the authority has warned of light to moderate rain with lightning in several parts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Parvathipuram Manyam districts. Light showers with lightning are also possible in scattered places across Alluri Sitarama Raju, Polavaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Kakinada, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Kurnool, Nandyal, Anantapur, and Sri Sathya Sai districts.
