Donovan Castelyn

Donovan Castelyn is a Senior Industry Fellow in Taxation at the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics, University of Tasmania, and Director of the UTAS Tax Clinic. His work focuses on applied taxation, tax administration, clinical education, and financial literacy, with a strong emphasis on access to justice, tax integrity, and community capability building. He leads pro bono and community-based initiatives that translate complex tax and financial concepts into practical outcomes for individuals, students, and regional communities, and contributes to national and international discussions on tax clinic practice, financial literacy, and professional education. Donovan is an Honorary Professor at the University of South Africa, a Tasmanian State Councillor and Academic Board Member of The Tax Institute, and a Founding Association Member of Governance Hub Inc.
