War Update: 79 Russian Attacks Since Midnight, Hottest Fighting Near Kostiantynivka, Huliaipole

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook as of 16:00 on Saturday, March 14, according to Ukrinform.

Russian artillery struck settlements including Budky, Koreniok, Ryzhivka, Mala Slobidka, Stepanivka, Khodyne, Starykove, Yastrubshchyna, and Iskryskivshchyna. An airstrike hit Kruzhok.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian troops attempted twice to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions and carried out 51 bombardments, including two with multiple launch rocket systems, and dropped three guided aerial bombs, inflicting one airstrike.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, one attack was recorded near Vovchanski Khutory.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched one attack toward Kurylivka.

Along the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled four enemy attempts near Drobysheve, Stavky, and Lyman, with one engagement still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces attempted three assaults near Zakitne and Riznykivka.

On the Kramatorsk front, two attacks occurred near Nykyforivka and Novomarkove, with one engagement ongoing.

The Kostiantynivka sector saw 15 enemy attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiivka, with two clashes ongoing.

Ukrainian forces repelled 11 assaults in the Pokrovsk sector near Toretske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udachne, and Novopavlivka, with one engagement ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, three attacks occurred near Oleksandrohrad and Zlahoda.

The Huliaipole sector experienced 14 attacks near Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Huliaipilske, and Myrne. Russian forces carried out airstrikes near Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Charivne, and Dolynka. Four engagements are ongoing.

No significant enemy attacks were reported in the Orikhiv sector.

In the Dnipro River sector, one attack occurred, with airstrikes on Lvove and Olhivka.

On other axes, the situation remains stable with no recorded enemy advances.

Earlier reports said Ukrainian forces had struck Russian troop concentrations, artillery, and military logistics facilities in temporarily occupied territories.
