Pakistan Confirms Drone Strikes From Afghanistan Targeted Quetta, Kohat, Rawalpindi

(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): The Pakistan Army on Saturday confirmed that drones launched by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) targeted positions in Quetta, Kohat, and Rawalpindi.

Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a statement, confirmed that four people were injured as a result of debris from the drone incidents, Dawn reported.

Based on reports on Friday, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) earlier in the day, suspending flights at Islamabad Airport due to security concerns.

On Thursday night, Pakistan's military regime carried out airstrikes in Kabul, Kandahar, Paktia, Paktika, and several other areas.

A reliable source told Pajhwok Afghan News that four people, including women and children, were killed and 25 others injured in Thursday night's attack by Pakistan's military in the Pul-i-Charkhi area of Kabul city.

The attack also completely destroyed four houses, while several others were partially damaged.

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), said:“Continuing its previous aggressions and crimes, the military regime of Pakistan has once again carried out bombings in Kabul, Kandahar, Paktia, Paktika and several other areas.”
