Four Attackers in Crocus City Hall Terror Case Receive Life Sentences
(MENAFN) A Russian court has handed life prison terms to four individuals convicted of carrying out the 2024 terrorist assault at the Crocus City Hall concert venue, according to reports.
In a statement, the Second Western District Military Court announced that Shamsidin Fariduni, Dalerjon Mirzoev, Muhammadsobir Faizov, and Saidakrami Rachabalizoda were found responsible for executing the attack.
Reports indicate that the case involves a total of 19 defendants. While the four men were identified as the main perpetrators, the remaining 15 are accused of assisting and facilitating the operation.
The incident took place in March 2024 when the four attackers launched a coordinated assault on civilians attending an event at the Crocus City Hall music venue in Crocus City, located in Krasnogorsk in the Moscow region.
According to reports, the assailants entered the concert hall and began shooting at people inside.
Official figures state that the attack left 149 people dead, while more than 600 others attending the concert were wounded either by gunfire or as a result of burns.
