Trish Reid
- Professor of Theatre and Performance, University of Reading
My research focuses on the ways identity politics - gender, ethnicity, nationality and class - intersect with politics more generally on contemporary stages. I have published widely on contemporary British theatre and and particularly on aspects of the history and practice of theatre in Scotland. This last interest extends to a broader interest in Scottish history, politics and culture. I also have an ongoing interest in popular music, since I spent my youth as a songwriter in various all-girl Glasgow bands.
