Six Get Murdered in US-Israeli Airstrikes on Iran’s Tabriz
(MENAFN) Six people were killed in US-Israeli airstrikes targeting the northwestern Iranian city of Tabriz and the nearby area of Azarshahr late Tuesday, Iranian authorities reported.
Majid Farshi, director of Crisis Management in East Azerbaijan Province, confirmed the civilian deaths and said authorities will release details about the wounded later, according to state news agency IRNA.
Separately, explosions were reported in the city of Qom, though Iranian media did not provide details about casualties or the cause.
Since the joint US-Israeli strikes began on Feb. 28, more than 1,200 people—including then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei—have reportedly been killed, and over 10,000 others injured. Iran has responded with drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
