Erdogan Discusses Bilateral Ties, Security Situation with Sudanese Leader
(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone call on Tuesday with Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, head of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council, according to reports.
During the conversation, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and the latest security developments in Sudan. Erdogan emphasized that Türkiye values Sudan's “territorial integrity and political unity” and is closely monitoring the Sudanese army’s efforts to maintain security.
He also reaffirmed that Türkiye’s support and humanitarian assistance to Sudan will continue.
