Kuwait Activates Air Defenses as Missiles
(MENAFN) The Defense Ministry of Kuwait announced Sunday that the nation’s air defense systems were actively engaging hostile missiles and drones launched toward the country, according to reports.
Officials said defensive units were deployed to counter the incoming threats as attacks unfolded.
In a separate announcement, the Interior Ministry confirmed that two officers from the Land Border Security Department were killed during the overnight assaults.
Authorities stated that the officers died while performing their duties as multiple locations across the country came under attack. Among the sites reportedly targeted was Kuwait International Airport.
