Biden Criticizes Trump Administration for Lacking American Values
(MENAFN) Former US President Joe Biden stated on Friday that the country is facing a challenging situation because the Trump administration does not reflect core American values.
“We are in a tough spot, folks—we've got an administration that doesn't share any of the values that we have and I don't think I'm exaggerating a little bit,” Biden said while speaking at the funeral of civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson.
Biden’s comments come amid ongoing disputes with US President Donald Trump, who has frequently criticized him over issues such as the economy, immigration policy, and foreign affairs, while also questioning his health.
The remarks were made as tensions in the Middle East escalate following coordinated US and Israeli strikes on Iran on Feb. 28 and Iran’s retaliatory actions in the region.
