Saudia to Restart Limited Flights to Dubai Following Regional Disruptions
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s national airline, Saudia, announced Friday that it will partially resume air travel to and from Dubai beginning March 7, reestablishing limited connections after recent regional disruptions.
According to a statement on X, the airline plans an initial schedule of two outbound flights to Dubai and two return trips. Saudia noted that services will begin on a restricted basis, with additional flights expected to resume progressively based on developments in the region.
Passengers can book tickets through the airline’s website and mobile app.
Meanwhile, Kuwait Airways has started operating flights from multiple regional cities to Saudi Arabia to assist Kuwaiti citizens in returning home via overland routes. These flights depart from Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Munich, and Bangkok, with travelers required to obtain a Saudi transit visa.
Air travel in parts of the Middle East has been disrupted in recent days due to US and Israeli operations against Iran, along with retaliatory attacks by Tehran, leading to temporary airspace closures and flight suspensions across several countries.
