I am a PhD candidate and Graduate Teaching Associate and Guest Lecturer in Film and Television Studies at the University of Warwick, funded by M4C AHRC (2022-2026). My project focuses on representations of sex, power and pleasure in popular film and television in the #MeToo era.
I write about a range of film and TV texts including those depicting sex work, romance fiction adaptations (Bridgerton), and adaptations of the bride of Frankenstein (Poor Things).
My article on the female porn performer on screen has been published in the journal of Porn Studies: #abstract
Outside of academia I work as a Sex and Relationship Education Programmes Facilitator and Media Education Specialist at the School of Sexuality Education.
