Oman Denies New Attack On Fuel Tank, Confirms Operations Continue Uninterrupted
Oman Oil Marketing Company issued a clarification regarding reports circulating on March 5 through news agencies and foreign media about an alleged attack on a fuel tank.

It confirmed that the event being circulated originally occurred on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, when one of the company's fuel tanks at Duqm Commercial Port was targeted.

In its statement, Oman Oil Marketing Company emphasised that its operations continue without interruption and urged the public and media to verify information through official sources before sharing or circulating unverified reports.
The incident on March 3 involved fuel tanks at the Duqm Commercial Port targeted by several drones, one of which struck a fuel tank, Oman News Agency reported, quoting a security source.
"The resulting damage has been contained without any human casualties recorded. Oman confirms its condemnation of the targeting and states that it is taking all necessary measures to address this incident," the agency said.
Oman denounced the drone strike on Duqm Port's fuel tank, stating that the damage was contained and no one was hurt or injured.
