Qatar Airways Flights Operation Remain Suspended, Affected Passengers To Be Contacted Directly
Doha, Qatar: Qatar Airways flight operations remain temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace.
The airlines said that it will resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace.
In a statement on X, the airline added that further update will be provided on March 7, by 9am Doha time (06:00 UTC).
It said affected passengers will be directly contacted with their flight details, arrangement, and not to proceed to the airport unless they have received an official notification confirming their flight from Qatar Airways.

It advised Qatar Airways passengers currently in Doha, to reach out to airline representatives in designated hotels to assist with questions regarding relief flights and travel arrangements.
“The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority. We sincerely apologise for the disruption caused by circumstances beyond our control and thank you for your patience and understanding” the statement said.
Qatar Airways noted that it is organising additional relief flights where operationally possible and will share further updates as soon as they are confirmed.
It also advised passengers to ensure their contact details are up to date and monitor the latest flight information via its website or the Qatar Airways mobile app.
