IAEA Confirms Damage To Iranian Uranium Enrichment Plant In Natanz
“Based on the latest available satellite imagery, IAEA can now confirm some recent damage to entrance buildings of Iran's underground Natanz Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP),” the IAEA stated.
The agency noted that no radiation consequences are expected, and no additional damage to the plant itself, which was seriously damaged during an attack in June last year, has been detected.
As reported by Ukrinform, on Monday, March 2, Permanent Representative of Iran to the United Nations Reza Najafi, who is responsible for nuclear control, said that a large nuclear facility located in Natanz was attacked during US and Israeli strikes against Iran.
