Death Toll Rises in Iran Amid Ongoing US-Israeli Strikes

(MENAFN) The number of people killed in the ongoing US-Israeli attacks on Iran has climbed to 787, the Iranian Red Crescent said on Tuesday.

In a written statement carried by state media, the organization said search and rescue teams are still working through the debris of damaged buildings. No details were given about the number of those injured.

The large-scale US-Israeli military campaign began on Saturday and has resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian figures, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and high-ranking military officials.

Tehran has responded with drone and missile strikes aimed at Israel as well as Gulf nations hosting US assets.
