Corey Martin is a lecturer in the Department of Media and Communication at Swinburne University. Her research explores podcasting, gendered history and the politics of representation. She is the creator and producer of Maiden Australia, a podcast that emerged from her PhD research examining how overlooked women in Australian history can be re-centred through digital storytelling. Before entering academia, she worked as a copywriter, producer and announcer in commercial and public radio.
