Erdogan spoke with US President Donald Trump to discuss developments in Iran and the broader Gulf region. In a separate call with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, he extended well-wishes following attacks affecting Qatar and received updates on the local situation.
The Turkish president also offered condolences to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman regarding attacks on their countries, using the calls to address the regional situation.
