Israeli Occupation Strikes Beirut's Southern Suburbs, Continues Raids In S.Lebanon

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, March 2 (KUNA) -- Lebanon's National News Agency reported Monday that Israeli occupation warplanes carried out an airstrike near Al-Raya Stadium in Beirut's southern suburbs.
Israeli occupation aircraft continued raids on several towns in southern Lebanon, while drones were observed over villages in Zahrani area, coinciding with ongoing flights over Beirut and its southern suburbs.
The renewed security escalation came after rockets were fired from Lebanese territory toward the occupied Palestinian lands, prompting Israeli occupation forces to strike southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of the capital.
Several Lebanese areas are witnessing heavy civilian displacement following threats issued by the Israeli occupation army against towns in the south and Al-Beqaa region in eastern Lebanon. (End)
