Drones Hit U.S. Victoria Base Near Baghdad Airport
(MENAFN) Two drones targeted the US Victoria base near Baghdad International Airport on Monday, Iraqi private satellite television channels reported, citing security sources, as attacks on American military assets in the region continue to mount.
According to the reports, one drone breached the perimeter and landed inside the base's special operations zone, while US air defense systems successfully intercepted the second before it could reach its intended target.
